Hi im Chance Miller you’re 2017-2018 SRV chapter sentinel. FFA is so important to me because it helps me meet new people and make new friends i didn't have before. I’ve been working on my record book that is based off my job for Frank Hopkins at hopkins farms. My days working for him consist of taking care of thirteen thousand hogs almost every morning and night and many more jobs that need done on the farm. This past year I’ve learned a lot working for him like how to put in field tile in, scoop grain bins, and my favorite working with heavy equipment. He has also taught me a lot of responsibility working for him. When I’m not working and I’m being involved in FFA my favorite thing to do is go to welding competitions or livestock judging. My whole life i have always been around animals and farm work and when i got to highschool i knew i wanted to be in FFA and become a chapter officer. FFA has taught me many life lessons not just for working on the farm but for myself. It has helped me become more involved with meeting new people and trying new thing and that is why i am in FFA today.
